QUALITY POLICY

Naseco’s commitment goes beyond just the standard germination and purity check ups.
Our company has developed it’s own Seed Quality Manual with support from USTA, the Uganda Seed Trade Association.
The document is based and guided by the International Standard Organisation (ISO) principles and is currently under implementation, in all our production centres and marketing offices.
The Seed Quality Manual enables Naseco to track all it’s processes through Standard Operating Procedures.
The operations covered under the Quality Assurance Manual are:

  • Crop variety development / testing and release
  • Crop variety maintenance
  • Seed production and inspection
  • Seed processing and packaging
  • Seed sampling and internal seed testing
  • Pre- and post control verification Market survey
